How to create contacts manually, through forms, emails, imports, or conversations in Hubspot.
You can add contacts manually, through forms, emails, imports, or conversations.
Manually Create a Contact
- In HubSpot, go to CRM > Contacts.
- Click Create contact (top right).
- Enter the contact's details (name, email, etc.).
- (Optional) Associate the contact with a company, deal, or ticket.
- (Optional) If using Marketing Contacts, check Set as a marketing contact.
- Click Create contact (or Create and add another).
Other Ways to Create Contacts
- Import contacts from a spreadsheet.
- Forms: A contact is created when someone submits a HubSpot form.
- Emails: Sending a tracked and logged email creates a contact automatically.
- Conversations: Contacts are added when they interact with chat or emails.
