Review and Analyze Your Marketing Emails in HubSpot

Learn how to review and analyze the performance of your marketing emails with HubSpot's track and analytics tool.

After sending marketing emails, you can track their performance in HubSpot to understand engagement, delivery rates, and overall effectiveness.
 
Filter and Organize Emails
  • Preset Filters: View emails by status (Drafts, Scheduled, Sent) or AI-generated content.
  • Custom Filters: Sort by campaign, email type, user/team, or subscription type.
  • Save Views: Create and save custom views for easy access.
 
Analyze Individual Email Performance
  1. Go to Marketing > Marketing Email.
  2. Click on a sent email to see detailed analytics.
  3. Key Metrics:
    • Open Rate: Percentage of recipients who opened the email.
    • Click Rate: Percentage of recipients who clicked a link.
    • Click-Through Rate (CTR): Clicks divided by opens.
    • Deliverability: Successful sends, bounces, unsubscribes, and spam reports.
    • Click Map: Visual of the most-clicked links.
    • Engagement Over Time: Performance trends by time of day.
 
Track Recipients’ Engagement
  • Opened: Contacts who viewed the email.
  • Clicked: Contacts who clicked a link.
  • Bounced: Emails that failed to deliver.
  • Unsubscribed: Contacts who opted out.
  • Spam Reports: Emails marked as spam.
Use filters in the Recipients Tab to segment and analyze specific engagement trends.
