Create Tickets in HubSpot

Learn how to create customer service tickets to manage and track support requests and inquiries efficiently.

Use tickets in HubSpot to track customer inquiries and manage support requests efficiently. You can create tickets manually from different areas in HubSpot or automate the process using workflows and forms.
 
Create a Ticket from the Tickets Index Page
  1. Navigate to CRM > Tickets in your HubSpot account.
  2. Click Create ticket in the upper right.
  3. In the right panel, enter the ticket details:
    • Ticket name: A short description of the issue.
    • Pipeline: Assign the ticket to a specific pipeline.
    • Ticket status: Select the current stage of the ticket.
  4. To associate the ticket with a company or contact, use the dropdown menus to search and select the relevant records.
  5. Click Create to save the ticket.
 
Create a Ticket from a Contact or Company Record
  1. Open a contact or company record.
  2. In the Tickets section of the right panel, click + Add.
  3. Enter the ticket details in the Create a new ticket tab.
  4. Click Create to save the ticket, which will now be associated with the record.
 
Create Tickets with Workflows (Service Hub Professional & Enterprise Only)
Set up a workflow to automatically create tickets when specific conditions are met. Use the Create a ticket action within your workflow to automate ticket creation and assignment.
